The Public Catalogue Foundation (UK) Acquires several pieces by Mona Kuhn
June 24, 2011 The Public Catalogue Foundation (PCF), based in the United Kingdom, is acquiring several pieces from Mona Kuhn's Native and Evidence series. The PCF was launched in 2003 and is a registered charity based in London. They are known for an exquisite painting collection, and only recently began to look at photography; Kuhn's work is now part of the beginning of their photography collection. Read more -
'One Thousand Pictures: R.F.K.'s Last Journey' airs tonight at 8pm on HBO, featuring Paul Fusco's photo documentation
June 8, 2011 In the early afternoon of June 8, 1968, following a funeral mass in New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Kennedy family and several hundred guests boarded a 21-car train at Penn Station to take the body of Robert F. Kennedy to Washington to bury him next to his brother, John. Images of the disparate mourners were captured by Magnum photographer Paul Fusco, a journalist on the train. Read more
